Fire Risk Assessments
Flamerisk Safety Solutions Ltd. is able to provide one of the most comprehensive fire risk assessments carried out via a proven methodology. The template used has been designed, adapted and evolved through experience and the combined efforts of all of Flamerisk's network of associate consultants who came together over two days last year to decide on the final document for the new legislation.
The fire risk assessment document covers all that is required from the 'Responsible Person' for compliance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. It provides clients with relevant information through the five step analysis as well as easy references via appendices at the back of the document not only for certain duties of the 'Responsible Person' but also best practice in such areas as hot work/permit to work conditions, work method statements etc.
Part of Flamerisk's commitment to best practice is the provision of a clear and prioritised 'Action Plan' as part of the fire risk assessment to aid compliance. An emergency plan can also be prepared as part of the fire risk assessment procedure.
A fire risk assessment is not just about complying with the law, it brings real benefits in terms of mininising the chance of a fire occurring and more importantly, someone being injured or killed as a result of a fire. Also, remember that around 75% of businesses never recover from a fire and the average cost of a fire in business is approximately £60,000.
All of Flamerisk's team of associate consultants are ex senior officers from Fire and Rescue Services throughout the UK and have fire safety experience in England and Wales as well as Scotland and Northern Ireland. Flamerisk works in partnership with all its clients to ensure the fire risk assessment is suitable and sufficient and to this end it will also liaise with enforcing authorities and other interested parties to ensure that the fire risk assessment is complete and acceptable.
